How to Extend the Service Life of Mould/Mold for Concrete Block?

The Mould/Mold for Concrete Block is one of the important parts to ensure the normal operation of the machine. Because of its frequent operation, it will age after working for a period of time. In particular, when the interlocking stone mold is worn to a certain extent, it cannot be locked when paving the road surface, resulting in failure to stack normally. In order to extend the service life of the Mould/Mold for Concrete Block, what measures can we take?

Mould for Concrete Block

1. When connecting the mold to the machine, ensure that the plane dimensions of the vibration plate-female mold-male mold are consistent and parallel. Because non-axial lateral loads can cause mold wear.

2. Make sure that the shock absorber wedges connected to the same part are not defective. Exploded or failed shock absorbers will hinder the uniform distribution of vibration, resulting in uneven mold surface.

3. Ensure that the platform balance arm connecting the male and female molds is adjusted correctly. The wrong adjustment method will cause the mold to be unable to be properly installed on the vibration table, resulting in uneven mold surface.

4. Regularly maintain the centering bearings and bushings of the platform connecting the male and female molds. Prevent problems such as warping caused by wear and tear that the male mold cannot properly cooperate with the female mold.

5. Make sure that the pressure on the mold is consistent on both sides of the mortar truck. If the pressure is inconsistent, the side with greater pressure on the mold will wear out earlier.

6. Make sure the male template bolts are tightened. The male template with loose bolts may not be able to enter the female mold. During the force process, the surface of the female mold may deform or deform itself. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the fixing bolts of the male template.

Therefore, regular maintenance is required in daily use to extend the service life of the Mould/Mold for Concrete Block.
